No One Makes Minimum Wage - We compensate our employees based on the qualifications in 1 of 3 categories. They include:
Category 1: For high school graduates who work 4 or more hours (breakfast or lunch shifts year round or individuals who are Illinois Manager Food Sanitation or ServSafe Manager certified), the starting pay rate is $9.00 an hour.
Category 2: For employees who are available for 6 or more shifts (from 4:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. year-round availability), the starting pay rate is $9.50 an hour.
Category 3: For all other staff, the starting pay rate is $8.50, and the rate range for employees with college degrees is from $9.25 to $10. We start workers in the following positions with these hourly rates:
Overnight Crew - $9.25
Crew Trainers - $8.50 Plus an Hourly Wage of $0.50
Custodian/Maintenance - $9.50
401K Plan with Employer Match - If you have worked 1,000 hours, are 21 years of age, and have been employed with us for 1 year, you are eligible to enroll in Linman Family McDonald's 401K automatic payroll deduction program. You may choose a 401K plan with a pre-tax deferral or a Roth contribution with after-tax deferral. Ask your manager for details.
McResource Line - This is a free service provided by Mr. and Mrs. Linman and is available to help you and your immediate family members with solving many of life's issues such as finding a new place to live, licensed childcare, health care, financial resources, and so much more.
McPrize Program - Throughout the year, you have many opportunities to earn McPrize tickets. At the end of the year, a drawing takes place to win prizes. Some of these prizes include radio-controlled cars, GPS navigation systems, tool sets, MP3 players, games, cookbooks, and more. Check with your manager on how you can earn McPrize Tickets.
Flexible Hours - Since we are open from early morning to late at night, we can come up with a schedule to fit your needs.
Recruitment Bonus - If you know someone who would be great for our team, refer them to us. After they have worked 120 hours, you will receive a $25 bonus.
Group Insurance Plan - We have group insurance plans available for dental, accidental death, vision, and disability coverage.
Paid Time Off - If you have worked for an entire 12 month period, started on or before December 1, and have received a paycheck every pay period, then you are eligible for 1% of your yearly wage to pay for time off or a vacation.
Safety Shoes Discounts - We provide money-saving deals on safety shoes from Shoes for Crews and Payless ShoeSource.
Pay Options - There are 3 payment options available, which include:
Pay Card: Your money will be directly sent to the card that you receive from your manager.
Direct Deposit: Your money is sent directly to your bank account. You will provide a voided check or letter from your bank signed by a bank official.
Pay Check: Your money will be sent to your home (in check form) through the mail on payday.
Advancement Opportunities - This allows you to gain leadership experience and more responsibility while you move up into the management team. These positions require hard work, determination, and give you the ability to train, learn, coach, and acquire some great business skills.
PerkSpot Program - PerkSpot is a new program that is free and optimized for use on any device including desktops, tablets, and smartphones. You'll have access to thousands of discounts in dozens of categories. There are special offers weekly!
Discounted Meals - For each shift worked, you can receive a sandwich and fry or a salad for a 50% discount. A 16oz. A soft drink will be provided for free. You may have your employee meal before or after your shift, or during your break. Food must be consumed on premises.
Awards - We give our service pins starting at 6 months for service, again at a year, and every year after that. Additionally, we award a very special performer each month with Crew Person of the Month or Rookie of the Month award. After 10 years, you will be part of our decade club which has more benefits.
Employee Supplies Provided - We provide all uniforms shirts, hats, and nametags for our employees.

Archways to Opportunity - This program is designed to help you earn your associate's or bachelor's degree. You may qualify for $2,500 in assistance if you have worked at Linman Family McDonald's for at least 90 days and have worked an average of 15 hours a week.
